On March 14th 2024 the Moving to Portugal Show in central London saw a notable attendance, indicating a growing interest among British buyers in relocating to Portugal. Expectations were high and over 250 attendees sought invaluable insights about how to successfully relocate. EDGE took part in this event by providing clarifications to assist those interested in relocating to Portugal.

In line with previous editions, the attendance rate has continued to grow, and this year was no exception with over 70% of the show’s audience attending for the first time.

Approximately 40% of attendees disclosed their intention to relocate to Portugal within the next year. There was a significant demand for current information concerning visa and residency options. Additionally, some visitors expressed interest in learning about various aspects of moving to Portugal, including employment opportunities, educational choices, healthcare services, and the cost of living.
The event also showcased investment opportunities in Portugal, with expert insights from fund managers of some of the country’s top investment funds having had the opportunity to explain investment strategies and discuss the new eligibility criteria for Portugal’s residency by investment program (“Golden Visa”).
